Kids With Spirit
GUIDING PRINCIPLES

  • There is one God, known by many names.

  • There are many spiritual paths to the One God.

  • There is One God, who is both Father and Mother, masculine and feminine.

  • God, which is love, is within me and all creation.

Are you looking for some nonreligious, but highly spiritual education for your children that fits more closely with your philosophy?  Our Kids With Spirit (KWS), the children's spiritual program at Spirit United, might be the answer. KWS is held at the same time as the church service.

Our Youth Education Philosophy
 We seek to experience the God within, a heart connection with each other, and with Spirit by providing a foundation of teachings in Esoteric Christianity (the loving God within), Ageless Wisdom (messages from God and the masters about how to live our lives to the fullest to complete our soul’s journey back to God), and the common ground, or Unity of Many Spiritual paths to one God.

Your child will find

  • A safe place to explore life.

  • Spiritual tools they can apply to their daily lives.

  • Guideposts rather than dogma.  A place where kids can be kids.

Kids With Spirit program is offered for kids grades K-6. Class time is 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. during Church Service.  Kids often attend the beginning of Church service and move to their room after opening announcements and songs.

Each Sunday is a combination of: sacred circle time, lessons, activities, music, prayer, meditation and movement.  As our program grows we plan to also offer pre-school programs, service opportunities, spiritual parenting classes . . . and more.
